Clarissa Buch is a freelance writer and editor with more than half a decade of experience. She lives in Miami.

Clarissa is the restaurant critic and lead food reporter at Miami New Times, as well as the Miami editor at PureWow, and the Miami writer at Eventbrite. Otherwise, she contributes to Tasting Table, Observer, The Miami Herald, Thrillist, Time Out, Visit Florida, Business Insider, and more.

In addition, Clarissa is a senior corporate copywriter at BrandStar, an agency which produces content that airs on Lifetime and Fox. She also supplies writing for various global media companies including News Corp, Owners Real Estate, Palace Resorts, and Royal Caribbean.


In 2017, she created By Clarissa, a writing studio.

Her company helps individuals, small businesses, and major corporations (read: chefs, fashion executives, luxury travel agencies, fitness instructors, and real estate companies) share a story or spread an idea through engaging copy.
